FEZtival of Trees FAQs
THE TREES: On display will be over 45 sponsored trees, all of which are fully decorated and include lots of gifts beneath or on them!
For an idea on what to expect, last year’s trees included such items as a Blackstone grills, a 55″ Smart HDTV, designer purses, a toys galore, an OSU football helmet autographed by Chris Speilman, and a pair of tickets to great seats at a Columbus Blue Jackets game.
And fan favorites will return, such as the $1,000 Cash Tree and the $500 Scratch-Off Lottery Tree, Visits with Santa, and the Kids’ Ornament Decorating Stations.
THE RAFFLE: Attendees can purchase 10 tree raffle tickets for $5 at any time during the event, and then place their tickets in the candy cane signs beside the trees that most interest them. There is no limit on the number of tickets you can purchase, or the number of entries you can make!
Tickets for the $1,000 Cash Tree and the $500 Lottery Tree are $5 per entry. Only one winner will be drawn for each of these trees. There is no limit on the number of entries you can make.
THE WINNERS: On the final day of the event, at 7:30 pm, a winning ticket will be drawn for each sponsored tree on a Facebook live feed on our FEZtival of Trees Facebook page. Lucky winners will receive not only the tree and all its trimmings, but also all the gifts on or beneath it.
The Cash Tree and Lottery Tree raffles will also be drawn on the final day of the event. The winner of the Cash Tree raffle will receive $1,000 cash. The winner of the Lottery Tree raffle will receive $500 in Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off tickets. No trees or decorations are included in the winnings for these two trees.
HOLIDAY FUN: During each event day, attendees will also find food, cookies, children’s ornament decorating, visits (and free pictures) with Santa, musical performances, and a magical tree wonderland to get you in the holiday spirit.

Why be a Sponsor? (Sponsor FAQs)
As a Tree or Monetary Sponsor, you’ll get exposure to potential customers and valuable publicity by supporting an event that benefits the public, brings joy to the attendees, and ultimately helps raffle winners with their holiday gift giving expenses.
WHERE DO WE ADVERTISE?
Our marketing strategy takes advantage of both paid and free advertising avenues. We purchase up to full-page ads in such publications as all 4 Central Ohio community publications of The Messenger, (614) magazine, and Discover Grove City. We also include paid digital advertising with Facebook, Instagram, (614)now.com, and others. Additionally, our events get listed in various popular public event calendars and our promotional signage is posted in businesses around Central Ohio and beyond. This year we have also included 10 billboards, placed all around the Columbus metro area, that will run for a month leading up to the FEZtival.
By becoming a sponsor, you’re putting yourself in some very good company. Our sponsors have included Ricart Ford, Meyers Jewelers, Capstone Wealth Advisors, Walmart, and Grove City Brewing/Plum Run Winery.
BEING A TREE SPONSOR
Our FEZtival wouldn’t be festive without the trees — lots and lots of beautiful trees! Being a Tree Sponsor means that you commit to providing an artificial Christmas tree for the FEZtival, with all the decorations you want to put on it, and any gifts you want to include with it. Then come to Aladdin during one of our setup times right before the FEZtival and put up your tree, decorate it, and place your gifts beneath or on it.
2026 SETUP DAYS: November 17 – 19, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm.
What’s so great about being a Tree Sponsor? The huge smile you give to the winner of your tree! And when a child is involved in the win? The kids’ excitement makes it all that much more rewarding!
WHAT TO PUT UNDER YOUR TREE: We’ve found that the most popular trees are those that include just one bigger ticket item as one of the gifts. The rest of the gifts can be small, but when there is a single large item, such as a Blackstone Grill, a Smart HDTV, a Kitchenaid mixer, a kid’s electric vehicle, or a $250 Visa gift card there, people flock to it to drop their tickets. One of our most popular trees last year had a hoard of women’s accessories — purses, jewelry, perfumes, scarves, hair clips, etc. — beneath it!
Winners will be drawn live on Facebook on on the last day of the FEZtival. One lucky person will win your entire tree, including the decorations and gifts.
